Digital X-rays - Much less radiation !

Digital radiographs are one of the newest X-ray techniques around. It is becoming a standard among top dentists because it uses less radiation and it is easier to share and store the information.

Implant and Standard Crowns and Bridges

A dental implant and porcelain crown is practically indistinguishable from your natural teeth, and it fits so securely that you won't even notice it when you chew and speak.

Thorough Examinations

The Academy of General Dentistry recommends twice yearly checkups for people of all ages. The dentist does a visual exam of your mouth, looking not just for cracked and decayed teeth, but also for growths and sores on the tongue, palate, and mucous membrane that lines the cheeks and covers the gums.

Cleanings and Fluoride Treatments

Regular cleanings will help prevent oral cancer, gum disease, and help maintain good physical health. Fluoride treatments aid children in the fight against cavities.

Sealants for Children

Sealants are a plastic coating that fills in the deep grooves and fissures present on the first and second permanent molars. They are mainly used to prevent cavities.

Desensitizer Applications

Tooth discomfort may occur after eating hot and cold food, drinking cold liquids, or breathing cold air. Desensitizer applications will help reduce the pain.

Fillings (Silver & White)

Most of us have had amalgam fillings (silver) or gold filling restorations. Composite resin dental fillings were created as an alternative to traditional metal dental fillings. These are colored to look like a natural tooth.

Root Canals (Bicuspids and Anterior's only)

The treatment of disease and injuries of the pulp and associated perpendicular conditions. This is the portion of the pulp cavity inside the root of a tooth; the chamber within the root of the tooth that contains the pulp.

Partial Dentures (No full dentures.)

On a limited basis partial dentures are made at our office. This is done on a per case basis. Any patient who has had all their teeth removed or needs full edentulation of one or more arches is currently referred to a denture specialist known as a prosthodontist for the construction of full dentures.

Athletic & Grinding Mouth guards

These devices fit over the teeth to prevent injury to the teeth, mouth or lips. They can also be a device that prevents tooth grinding or treats temporomandibular disorders.

Tooth Buildups Including Posts & Pins

The most popular material for buildup use is bonded composite resin, followed by bonded amalgam. Since amalgam use is decreasing in dentistry, it is expected that use of composite resin as a buildup material will continue to increase. These materials are used in the aid to set both posts and pins for crowns or bridge work.
