Do you accept dental insurance?
Yes. We accept 99% of the dental insurance programs offered in the United States. There are a few programs ( mainly HMO's ) we may not be providers. Call and we can confirm your dental insurance coverage.

We accept cash, checks, Master Card, VISA, and Discover cards. If the patient has no dental insurance coverage of any kind, payment in full is due immediately prior to the appointment.
I don’t have much money, do you offer financing of dental work ?
Yes. We use the largest healthcare financing company in the United States (Care Credit). All financing and payments of dental work are done through and approved by Care Credit. A credit application process is involved and we can not guarantee approval. We do not do any "in-house" financing or payment plans.

No. At this time we are not open Saturday or Sunday and close at 6 pm during the week.
Are there any medical conditions I should tell the dentist about before my appointment?
Yes.  It is important to disclose all health information to the dentist on the medical records. Certain medical conditions affect treatment prior to your appointment such as heart conditions, joint replacements, history of endocarditis, if you are on Warfarin or Coumadin, or going through chemotherapy.  It is best to allow time for our office to contact your medical doctor for instructions prior to dental treatment.
Do you make partial dentures ?
Yes. On a limited basis partial dentures are made at our office. This is done on a per case basis.

Do you extract or pull teeth?
Yes. On a limited basis. All molars and infected teeth are referred to an Oral Surgeon for removal.Over 80% of extractions are referred to an oral surgeon for removal.
What options do I have to replace missing teeth?
There are several options to replace teeth.  It depends on how many teeth are missing and where they are located in the mouth. An implant is the best and most expensive option to replace missing teeth. An implant is a permanent titanium metal screw that is placed in the jawbone over which a crown is cemented. Unfortunately very few dental insurance plans pay for Implant placement. A bridge is the next best option to replace a missing tooth. A bridge is made by crowning the teeth on both sides of the space with a false tooth soldered in the space. The bridge is permanently cemented to the teeth and can not be removed. Approximately 50% of insurance plans pay for bridge placement. Partials or dentures are two removable options for replacing teeth.  A partial replaces a few teeth, where a denture replaces a full arch.
What are sealants?
Sealants are a plastic coating that fills in the deep grooves and fissures present on the first and second permanent molars. They are mainly used to prevent cavities in children. Although eruption patterns for children can vary, generally around age 6 -12 are the years sealants are ready to be placed. Sealants are painless to place and most insurance plans pay 80-100% for their placement.
Are amalgam/silver fillings safe?
Yes. Silver amalgams contain many different metals such as copper, silver, tin, zinc, and mercury.  However when the mercury is mixed with the other metals, it chemically binds the components into a stable substance that has been used safely for over 100 years. Most dental insurance plans do not pay for "white" fillings to be placed in back teeth therefore most patients opt for the standard silver filling for back tooth cavities. All front teeth are filled with a white filling material known as "resin" or "composite".
What can I do about my sensitive teeth ?
The best treatment for sensitive teeth is to begin using a Colgate toothpaste called "Prevident 5000 Sensitive". A prescription is needed to obtain this toothpaste. We can also sell the desensitizer to you directly if you don't want to go to the pharmacy.
Do you make full dentures ?
No. Any patient who has had all their teeth removed or needs full edentulation of one or more arches is currently referred to a denture specialist known as a prosthodontist for the construction of full dentures.
